Delete Your Account and Data

This page explains how to request deletion of your account and associated data for MindSync (the MindSync app and website), published by MindSync Academy.

Option 1 — Delete your account inside the app (immediate)

  • Open the MindSync app, or go to www.mindsync-ai.com, and sign in to your account.
  • Tap your profile icon and open the Profile page.
  • Scroll down to the section titled "Delete account".
  • Tap Delete account and confirm when asked.
  • Your account and data are deleted immediately and permanently. This action cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot sign in, send an email from the address registered on your account to mahaibra@ttu.edu with the subject line "Account deletion request". Include the email address or phone number linked to your MindSync account so we can verify ownership. We complete verified requests within 30 days.

Data that is deleted

When your account is deleted, the following is permanently removed from our systems:

  • Your login credentials and account identifier
  • Your profile details: name, email address, phone number, gender, class, group, institution and other onboarding answers
  • Study progress, card review history and spaced-repetition data
  • Daily study statistics and streaks
  • Saved decks, folders and bookmarked questions
  • AI tutor chat history, including any images you uploaded
  • Your membership profile and AI credit balance

Data that is kept, and for how long

  • Payment and transaction records (amount, transaction reference, payment method and status) are retained for 7 years to satisfy financial, tax and anti-fraud record-keeping obligations. These records are kept in a de-identified form wherever possible and are never used to contact you or for marketing.
  • Anonymous, aggregated usage counts (for example, total questions answered across all users) may remain. These cannot be linked back to you.

Backups are rotated on a rolling schedule and any residual copies of deleted data expire within 30 days.

Important notes

  • Deleting your account ends any active membership immediately. No refund is issued for the unused part of a paid period.
  • Deletion is permanent. To use MindSync again afterwards you will need to create a new account.
